If you have previously used the ANSI version and are switching to the
Unicode version of the calendar, you have to convert these two files
BEFORE you install the Unicode version:

"C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\PHSM-Calendar\PHSM-Dates.dat"
"C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\PHSM-Calendar.gadget\en-US\PHSM-Dates.txt"

You can use NotePad to do the conversion - open the file and choose
"File" -> "Save As...".  Click the selection box "Encoding:", choose
Unicode and save the file.
